A variation of Xiao Yao Wan, this formula treats Liver Qi stagnation with heat signs. Used for menstrual discomfort, feelings of heat, flushed face, irritability, hypochondriac pain or bloating. Recommended dosing is given between ovulation and the first day of the period. *

Ingredients: Mu Dan Pi (Paeonia suffruticosa, cortex); Zhi Zi (Gardenia jasminoides, fructus); Chai Hu (Bupleurum chinese, radix); Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis, radix); Fu Ling (Poria cocos, sclerotium); Bai Zhu (Atractylodes macrocephala, radix); Bai Shao (Paeonia lactiflora, radix); Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza uralensis, radix); Bo He (Mentha spp, herba).
Suggested Use: 8 pills, 3 times daily.
Warnings: If premenstrual symptoms are aggravated by this formula, reduce dosage accordingly, but continue therapy.
